Default Cam for a 5.3

what cam would be better a tr220 or a LS6.. not looking for anything crazy just some more power! read the treads seems like the tr adds a little more power and lope compared to the ls cam... is that correct and besides pushrods and springs is there anything else that needs to be changed? thanks in advance

if you got a bunch of miles on it you should go ahead and replace the timing chain. Since they have to remove the crank pulley you might as well get an underdrive pulley, it's a free install

if u want to keep it on a budget... buy a used cam, there are some tr220 and tsp220 that are being sold.... with springs, pushrods, retainers.......plus install....... your looking over 1k..... heads are expensive.... maybe skeet is tellin you to buy some heads cuz he is selling some i believe
