thats alot of gear. but it really depends on what you want to do with the truck. overall i would go with the tr220 on a 112. it will perform great and sound aggressive aswell.

I'd go with a Isky 212/215, .561/.566, 108 lsa. It will sound good, and make good mid range tq to move that heavy cc. If you're wanting better milage, and smoother idle there is the 210/214, .532'', 110*

Can't go wrong with a tr220, it's a proven cam. What are you wanting out of the cam and goals for the truck? A little more power for towing or the street? Drag racing?

I want to give the truck some pep, its got a dead spot from 72-80 and out the hole, so I want some tq low and something to complement the high end this motor has. Can I tow with a 10" 3200 stall? If so what can I pull?

Also do you have to pull the heads to change lifters? If so I guess it will get some ported 706's

I'm not a converter expert, but I would think you could still tow a decent amount. A transmission cooler would not be a bad idea.

Also, try using the search feature. There are a lot of cam threads on here to help you get a better idea on what would work for you.

I would go no smaller than an 11" (278mm) converter to tow with, and an aux. cooler is an absolute must if you're going to tow with a verter. Shoot a message to Chris@CircleD and ask him, but I think he'll agree. You will lose a small bit of low end with 220, but I doubt it will be noticable... and you'll blow by 80MPH fast enough that you'll forget there was ever a dead spot there. That's the same reason I got my cam, it seemd to fall on it's face at about 75. Not anymore though

If you decide on something around 220/220, let me know. I have a 218/222 that i had in a 5.3 CC. It pulled great.
