cam damage-can this be repaired?

I agree that I do not want to put something in that will ruin my next LQ4.I know the pic doesn't let you guys see it from all angles.The debris to me just looks to be on the surface.My brother in law's brother[get that] is a crew cheif on a dirt track car and he has a machine shop.He is going to look at it tomorrow.He was saying that if I had the cam specs he could get it ground for less the VHP price.Would the copy cam be exactly the same?

I totally agree; you need to at least change out the lifter that was on that lobe. However as long as the head(s) are off, you really should inspect them all. If the roller of the lifter has damage it will in turn damage your new cam.

is predetor-z from dubai?? i googled him his on LS1hardcore , checked his profile it says Dubai , UAE.

He's got a whole new motor. He picked up another LQ4 and was trying to reuse the cam, pushrods, and valve springs in the new motor.
