I would go with bigger springs. Unless your lifters are broke or wore out, I would not change them(thats my op).. Go to a ls2 style timing chain.. The pump is good, but not a must.. Other then that looks good to me.. Thats alot of converter..

Gonna be closing in on 100K miles very soon, don't wanna pull the heads, I have used Full Valvoline synthetic sense I got it at 32,000 miles in Oct 08, don't really have any plans to sell her, but after hearing some of the cams out there and how easy it is to do, LS-2 was kind of what I was wanting to do, I should just call up Texas speed and see if he would do a full package deal minus the Yank.

School me on the 112,114, I wanna hear each cylinder fire themselves, Plus it's gonna be coming out of longtube pacesetters, and a single three inch flowmaster 40 series with no cats.

I wouldnt put that large of a cam in a 4.8, the TSP224 would be better and on a 112lsa would chop crazy hard. That is a big verter also, I would probably try and stay at 4000 or lower. You definately need larger springs with the size of cam you are looking at, I assume you are planning on turning it up to or past 7k rpms and you want some good springs at that point. Also, lifters tend to fail at higher rpms so the LS7's would be great insurance. Yank sells brand new LS2 timing sets so just pick one of those up for your chain. The truck will be a dog down low but pull really hard up top with this setup. You would probably benefit greatly from a TBSS intake swap with a radical top end build like this.
How do you plan to use the truck and how do you want your power?

ls7 lifters for sure with that mileage, cam is too big, springs too small, converter too big for any street driving, what gear ratio do you currently have?
How about this:
dual valve springs/ls7 lifters/ls2 chain
TSP/TR 220
circle d/yank 3600
tbss/NNBS intake
run a cutout before the muffler or swap the crapmaster for something free flowing

It's a stock 3.73, it's not my daily driver, plus right now it has no ***** off the bottom end I was running a Super street fighter for a while and that stalled at around 3400,M&H drag radials well be the summer shoes.
Plus I wanna be able to use this set up again for my LQ4 when I get the bottom end set up.
I can change each individual component as I have not pulled the trigger on anything yet. I'll update the list for the new set up.
