i actually have the lunati and im loving it.. stock stall and no problem i feel power out the hole.. would i have gone bigger? idk guess i havent tried it...lol but for a 4.8 i say 212/218 is perfect...

i have a used comp xr 265 for sale. only 2k mikles on it.. i am going bigger!!

212/218 low lift

do u get any sound out of it????? an were did u get it form? the only lunati's i can find are way bigger lift

In a 4.8 I wouldn't go any bigger than a Comp Cams XR259...............

i gess im going to go with this cam form texas speed with yellow springs an a nelson tune

Comp Cams 212/218 LSx Cam "LOW LIFT"


Basic Operating RPM Range: 1,200-6,000
Duration at 050 inch Lift: 212 int./218 exh.
Valve Lift with Factory 1.7:1 Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.522 int./0.529 exh. lift
Lobe Separation (degrees): 114
Grind Number: LS1 XR265HR-14

thats gonna be a good setup..as far as sound goes a 114 lsa will sound tough through some longtube headers and the right exhaust..good luck!

u can get that cam at lunatipower.com i love my cam and well yes u can hear the cam on the exhaust side but u can hear it really good at the engine im guessing do to the lt headers and no cats..
