Cam is in and I have a few questions.
Ok first off let me say damn this thing sounds good. Nice choppy idle and quick rev. If you don't know the cam is a 218/224 .562/.568 113. Now for the results, installed with this cam is a Comp 918's, Vigilante 3200 stall, Comp high energy roller lifters, Thunder racing ported LS6 oil pump, Thunder racing 7.4 pushrods, Transgo, B&M 24,000 GVW Tranny cooler. I have the transgo on stage 3 set up minus 1 shim. When I floor it form a stop or roll it fly’s until it hits 3rd gear then it seems to fall on it face for a sec then picks back up. Is this normal? What can I do about the third gear fall off? Next I would like to know how my stall should actually work, what should I expect when I break stall, flash stall and normal driving? It seems it jumps to 3200 right away when I floor it form a dead stop, but it feels like it kicks in real early when I break stall. I am very happy over all but I can’t say I am totally happy due to the hesitation in third gear. It feels as though is loses power and then regains it. I have the PCM tuned for the cam so I am not sure what the problem is. Any help would be great.

Could it be your shifts points? Maybe it isn't set high enough or it is set too high. I am also thinking that you might still have some TM left, Wester's is known to leave some in there even after you ask him to remove it all.

The phenomenon you are describing sound like "Abuse mode" for the trans ... When the PCM measures rapid torque spikes during shifts caused by quick firm shifts it engages a 3000 rpm momentary rev limiter then resumes normal power after a predetermined time period. Check to make sure the abuse mode features were modified along with the torque management values.
