Default cam install price?

whats a fair price to pay to have a cam installed in my truck?

It's usually about $1300, that includes the price of the cam($400+), springs, rods, gaskets, and tune.

Ouch- what if I have the yellow LS6 springs and cam already and rods with HP Tuners to do the tunning myself? So I guess essentially gaskets and labor...............

Anywhere between $300-1000. I would say around average is $500-700 and a good deal is anything under $500.

yea, for sure. I did a cam for a friend and charged him 300, plus parts. That was kinda on the cheap side, cause we also did a radix at the same time.
