i was figuring on 4-6 hours to do the whole change.
i wonder if i could do springs one afternoon and cam the next??
would z06 springs be too much for my stock cam and furck somethin up?

I used it for the first time this weekend vs getting the one for free at AutoZone . . . and it cuts the time in half.

if its your first time im sure it will take longer that 4-6 hours to do everthing and think i took me around 9 or 10 hours to do everything and that being my first time and i didn't want to mess anything up, it doesnt take long at all to change the cam the only thing that might slow you down is getting the timing gear dots lined back up but its not bad as you think, the thing that took the longes was changing my springs because i didn't have the air tool to put air to the cylinders so instead i just kept turning the crank and did two cylinders at a time, but if i were you i would start early in the morning and do it all at one time while you have everything disasembled.that would make the best sense to me.

me and a couple friends did the whole swap in three hours, from killing the engine to cranking it up. but one of my friends it an experienced GM mechanic who has built several engines.
