a P0300 is a multiple or random misfire. this will set an SES light.
a blinking SES light means it is a catalist damaging misfire. like your dumping raw fuel into your exhaust or something. this is not good. i dont think the blinking is from your cam install but the P0300 is. i would check for your misfire and you might find something besides your cam lope.

when the check engine light blinks the trucks runs fine, doesnt run like has a misfire and it only blinks when warmed up. when cold trucks runs great and idles fine but when warm runs good but sometimes driving slowly in a parking lot truck wants to die. allen shiping me a retune on wensday, i will check the codes again to see if its only p0300 and nothing else

i thought u0107 was random misfire.....does your instrament display read "low engine power" or something like that....this has happened to me before...long before i did my cam...it was a the pass. side cat broke a piece off inside and pluged the exit hole more than it should have....but i shut it down and the problem was fixed somehow....of course now i have no cats so it doesnt matter...!!!

Had the same codes, and blinking. I think it blinked for about a month
#7 misfire and a random misfire P0300 and P0307. Ended up being the wiring harness was not making a good connection with the injector on #7. The harness slipped on fine and felt snug but it was the actual metal connector inside the plug that you slide onto the injector posts that was loose. Pull # 7 injector clip off the injector and take a good look at it.
