yeah i need a bigger stall the 2500 just isn't enough with the cam, after the first of the year i will pull it and have it restalled to 3200, that should get me out of the whole better. I have a stock converter i will run while its being restalled lol that should be fun.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT CAM v8 HAS BLUECAJUN5.3 I DON'T KNOW WHAT STALL.BUT WITH THE TR220 R 224 THAT U HAVE IF YOU PUT A 3500 STALL AND 4.56 GEARS,I WOULD SAY IN GOOD WEATHER U SHOULD GO SOME 40s MAY BE SOME 30s.
FLYER I KNOW YOU HAVE A BIG CAM WHAT GEAR DO U HAVE.I KNOW TO RUN THE TIME WITH THE 5.3 YOU WILL NEED TO USE ALL OF THE POWER BAND.
I WAS SHIFTING BETWEEN 6800 AND 7400 AND CROSSING AT THAT ALSO.

AND NO I AM NOT THE SMARTEST PERSON AT THIS JUST GOING OFF OF WHAT HAPPEN WITH MY TRUCK AND YES THEY R ALL DIFFERENT BUT I THINK THIS TIME CAN AND WILL BE BEAT.JUST MY .02

my cam is 223 225 564 571 114, vig 3disc 2800 that only stalls to 2500 or flashes to 2500 how ever you say it lol and I shift at 6800 1-2 6800 2-3 and cross the traps at 6??? I will have a diff. pcm for the track set up for the 26" tires (will it help who knows) But i will let everyone know. Bluecajun has 3000 stall same gears as me, flyer has the 4.10's as well with 4l80e that will be changed out to a 4l60e i do believe.

I WAS SHIFTING ON A 6800 SHIFT LIGHT AND WAS CROSSING WITH THE LIGHT SLAPPING ME TO SHIFT AGAIN.

26" tires (will it help who knows) IF YOU R SHIFTING U'R SELF NO BUT IF THE PCM IS SHIFTING FOR U IT COULD MAKE THE SHIFT A LITTLE LATER(HIGHER IN THE RPM).TO DO IT WITH 4.10s I THINK YOU WILL NEED A 3600 R 3800 STALL.JUST MY .02

I think about a 3500 with the 60e would be ideal in my truck. I run 27" slicks at the track, so that's like a full step and a half gear change.

v8's correct, I'm running the 80e and that's KILLING my launch.

With A 27" Tall You Put 4.56 In The Rear U Will With Out Problem Run Faster Than A 12.59.i Just Think With A 27"tire With 4.10 You Will Not Be Useing All Of Your Motor,u Will Problely Be Around 6000 Range.i Was Running 26" Tall And 4.56
