Stock 3.73s out back.

How long will my trans hold with that converter & Cam is my only worry.

All good, but honestly, I would skip the Ported TB--especially if its a drive by wire.

Thanks for the heads up. Will not to save my money. All this is going on a 02 with 102,000 miles on the motor.

Will the trans hold you think to this setup?

Everyones stock trans is on borrowed time, especially if you mod it. That being said, I've seen trucks modded with stock trans last for a good long while, and I've seen them blow up with stock engines. Hard to say and you just never know. I think if you are smart with it and don't hammer down on it every single chance you get and drive it like you have some sense about you, you could make the stock trans last for a while with those mods.

I told my wife last night & she was not to hip on me putting in a cam. I told her I wanted more power & she said. Find something else to get the power. I don't want to hear a lope in your truck, Her exact reply was you have your Formula for that.

So I have to look for a quiet cam? Thus why I asked about the CheatR cam. I know some of you have spouse's who bitch at you about your hobby too. Sorry for changing up on you guys. Believe me I wanted to run that setup too.

So this leads me to my stealth setup now?

220/228 .588/.596 114+2

Custom grind.... I've heard it in a LS1 camaro and it sounded danm near stock when he had it idles up to about 800-850RPM... the wider LSA will make it idle a lot smoother.

or, go with the TR220 on a 114... nice DD cam also...

Why do you say that? Isn't it all about better air flow into the motor?
