Plus, I've tried 2 of them from 2 different professional porters, with highly credited tuners working on them, and both time I had nothing but hell with the Ported TB's, both on drive by wire trucks, one cammed and one stock cammed. I will say that I noticed a definite difference in throttle response, but the driveability issues just weren't worth it.

not worth it for the idle and surging issues.

What was done to it? I have a home ported and half shafted DBW TB done by another member here and have had no driveability issues whith much better throttle response. Also have not touched the tune since it was done.

And for the orginal poster, my stock 4L60E lasted a whole 2 miles after I put my TT3000 in before I started loosing gears.
