Default Cam Options?

I know this is done over and over again, but if you were to use one, witch would it be. Based on cams only, dd, LS1 stock block, 862 stock heads. I know there are better cams. Wondering if the more duration with the stock heads would be better or the shorter and a little more lift. The Lunati has a ramp rate of 50 if anyone wanted to know.
Lunati 60510 212/218 .531/.531 113
Hot cam 217/228 .525/.525 112

I know the lunati cam and the many other variants are very well liked. I dont have any experience with either but from what I've heard the 212/218 is a very nice cam.

But the main question is what are your goals for the truck?

The TB that in mine sig. I'm just swapping in a rebuilt stock short block LS1 and using everything else on the truck. The lunati is in my truck but I can get the hot cam from my boss at work. I was just thinking it the truck had more duration it mite act like I had better flowing heads. I don't think the power will be that much different from to two and the lunati will give me more torque witch I want. Not spinning the truck past 6k anyways. Any thoughts will be nice. To all- please vote anyway.

The GM Hot Cam is known to have lazy lobes and is therefore hard to tune and not a great performer. Of the two, I'd stick with the Lunati.
