Default cam options in a daily driven 6.0??

im going to pull out my 5.3 with a 04 z06 cam in my ecsb gmc. and im putting a 6.0 lq9 in and i dont want to use my zo6 cam again. my question is what cam can i use in the new set up and still get away with towing. at most i might tow a car on a trailer from time to time. if i need to get a converter whats the max stall i could install with the cam and still be able to tow when i want. also if it matters ill be using my 317's with this maybe have them ported a bit

How about the Vinci Trucker (216/224 .551/.551 115) with a 2600 converter

It all really comes down to what you can deal with. I could easily tow with my 3600 stall if I wanted to (which I will). I dont really see a cam affecting towing at all.

i just didnt know if there was gonna be any complications if i put a healthy cam and a decent converter and have to tow later down the line. i dont really care for the power band of the ls6 cam so i wanted to know my options.

I think you'll be just fine. Once you mod anything, don't expect it to be like stock

It's still not 100% tuned (that happens next friday), but yeah, it moves. Gave one of the kids in my band a ride tonight, and decided to show him how hard it launches. Chirped in 4wd on dry pavement. I didn't know I could do that...

Sweet man, that's great Are you getting a dyno tune or something?

I'm driving up to the Massachusetts Black Bear tuning meet and having Justin retune it. The baseline "close enough" tune through the mail seems pretty good, but there is certainly some fine tuning left to do, especially with the shifting.
