My recommendation to you is a 224/224 on a 112. Noticeable idle with good power down low and would work well with a 2800-3000 stall.

Life is so funny, I spoke with a guy named Lonnie from TS and this what he mentioned, but the cam was a 220/220 w/581. Lift @112 LSA. He suggested lifters and rods aswell, but I didn't get the part numbers. To order the components. He said this is the largest cam I could use without changing the tq-converter. Can you tell me the rpm range on this cam and do you offer military discount?

not to thread jack but what would you recommend, your 224/224 or 224/228-230 with around a .581-.600 lift and 112-114lsa? How much is your military discount?

thats too much lift for stock 5.3 heads, unless u have 799/243s. someone please correct me if im wrong. thats wat i was told by comp cams when choosing my cam. just cuz that cam sounds good doesnt mean it performs good. and just cuz it might perform good in a 5.7 doesnt mean it will in a 5.3...
