Default Cam and SC ?

I have a 2000 5.3 I'm putting a cam in, I already have a Whipple putting out 7lbs of boost. My question is, when I install the cam will I need to have the Whipple reprogramed along with the engine? And does this need to be done bya dyno or can a handheld tuner do the job? Almost forgot, anybody got suggestions on injectors? Size and Brand???

get rid of the whipple electronics and get a good custom tune, also get rid of the 2 injectors that they add and get a set of Motron 60's or Marine 42lb

I picked up 53 rwhp and and 39 rwtq by ditching the Whipple craptronics and getting bigger injectors and a custom tune.
