Stage 2 TSP 212/218 .550 low lift with GM Blue Springs in an 06 5.3L with 3.73 Idles fairly smooth. Barely has a hint that has a cam in it.

Heads are milled to 58cc.

@1FastBrick I think that the idle is extremely tune dependent. My 6.0 with the same cam has a pretty good lope.

I pulled 2 degrees of timing and bumped the Idle rpm a small bit.

I am sure if you add timing it will lope more. As it sits only a few people have done a double take and asked if it was modified.

Adding timing to reduce lope? Usually adding smooths it. Or are you just adding some to adjacent cells in order to get more of an rpm swing, (not increasing the whole cell range in the idle area)?

LSA makes a big difference, too. a 212/218 with 110° lopes more than a 114°

We prefer engine/chassis dyno tests to compare cams. The below video from Holdener has cams in the range the OP is looking for including some on the OP's list. This is an L33 5.3 with a FAST intake and long tube headers. The SUM-8728R1's graph is very similar to the rest in the test. They all peaked around 6,000 rpm with 44Xhp and 42Xtq. With the cams in Holdener's test, you wouldn't be able to feel the difference from one to the next.

@shakenfake,

Let us put down the silver spoon and go fire up the engine dyno with a Supercharged Edelbrock 416 stroker hooked to it

Kidding aside we know you were 100% aware the software dyno results aren't gospel. This was a friendly reminder of the third-party test for cams similar to what the OP and many others on this forum are interested in
