For some reason I was thinking you had a Reg cab. Yeah the torquer V2 cam is a little overkill for your goals, especially in an extended cab truck like yours. If you had a regular cab the torquer V2 with 3600-4k stall in a 6.0 would be badass for a strip setup though. I still think a 226/230 would be ok as the intake side is still in the mid 220's and I see that you changed your outlook on converter size yet again. It would be fine with the correct gears and converter. There is vids of a lq4 crewcab on youtube with a 224/230 and it still has pretty good get up and go.
You gotta find a happy medium somewhere, especially if you are wanting to DD your truck and also take it to the Track on weekends. If you are going to be driving the truck a lot, you might not like to DD a converter over 3600. Some people DD a 4000 converter though lol. Everybody has diff preferences. If you think you are going to hate a big verter, get the 223/227 then and tell us how everything goes. I think you would honestly be happy with that cam for awhile, but just remember you will prob want more speed in due time lol.
