Default Cam, stall and fuel system

I have a 2000 silverado 5.3, last year I did Texas speed long tubes with a off road y, I also put a 44# injector and a walbro 255, but as of now it has 106xxx miles, I wanna put a cam and stall in it, it is my daily and I also plan on a true trac, I want it to be street able but still be a pretty wicked street fighter to give camaros and mustangs a run for their money, I'm open to cam suggestions and stall suggestions cause this is my first build major upgrade, let me kno what you guys think would be a could combo, what else would need upgraded, I'm all ears thank you guys!!

Youll be fine with the fuel system you have now with a cam swap. As far as the cam and converter suggestions go, a bit more info on the truck would help out. Regular cab, ext cab? 2/4wd? Rear end gear ratio. All will play a part in selecting the right cam/converter combo for your truck. If you plan any sort of forced induction later on you might also want to consider that when specing the cam also. My current cam is a 227/233 lunati which to me is a bit large now that I dont have the Procharger on my truck anymore. With the blower it was awesome, but now that I dont have all the extra power and torque that it made, the cam feels a bit sluggish down low. Then again, if it was cut on a 110-111 lsa instead of the 113, that would help out a little down low. It really comes alive above 3500rpm though. Id say most of the guys on here will probably recommend something in the low to mid 22x/22x duration and anywhere from a 3000-3400 converter depending on the cam.

my lunati 224/224 .560/.560 on a 112 lsa is killer on the street in my 05 RCSB. waiting on a 3200 circle D converter but once i get that the truck is going to wake up. with my cam didnt have to change push rods just did valve springs. imo was a great cam to buy.
