Default This cam for a stock stall?

Im planning on getting this cam i want to know if its going to be ok with my stock stall?

220/220 .551/.551 112 LSA

Uh, doubt it. On a stock 4.8L with an auto and the stock TC, the highest I'd go would be maybe 212/218. Even then, you might have some RPM climbing to do before you hit power.

The cam in my sig would be ideal for smaller cubes (4.8L - 5.3L) and stock stall....which is why I got it.

yeah i figured that was going to be too big. im planning on adding a torque converter but i wanted to do the cam first. where's your powerband at on that cam?

650 RPM's -> 6,000 RPM's

that is a vey nice cam. Consider a mild stall for that cam.

Id go with a 2400 stall should be just about right

I put in a trailblazer stall with almost the same cam. Mine has 114 lsa. Seems to work pretty good.

sounds awsome thanks guys. i cant wait to hear thats 112 lsa with my cut-out. i think thats the cam im going to go with probally a 2400-2800 stall havent decided yet.
