tell him to spend the $550 and start with some vortec heads. The heads he has now suck <unless he changed them}. he will see the biggest gain there. Also they make 2bbl intakes for the vortec heads that he can run his TBI on.

Check this out:
http://www.cranecams.com/master/apps/chevy5.htm
A friend has the 2030, its a good but mild cam, I think the Powermax 2040 would be a good option too.
2030.- 204/214 423/446 lift 110 Lobe sep
2040.- 210/216 440/454 lift 114 Lobe sep
I donīt know if one or more of the sponsors sell it so the only place I have in mind is www.summitracing.com
Hope this help.

Follow this link and look at the Performer and Performer RPM head, intake, and cam packages that apply to that '95 TBI. These are the things I never got around to do to my '91 Silverado. If you do the entire Performer RPM package, it's supposed to give you about 420HP. Not bad for being under a total of $2000.
