If your real serious about the 4.3 why not do this. For my Blazer i'm getting some junkyard heads, having them milled to 10:1, ported, and 2.02/1.55 valves put in. Then machinrd for the crane springs and do the whole cam and head swap at one time. I'm looking into an 01'+ computer for it so i can use the same LS1Edit as my Silv.

I could put a V8 in for the same price probibly, but i'm all for being different and hopefully spanking some V8 *** with the tiny 4.3. Nothing like beating a stock F-body with a 4x4 Blazer. And poping the hood cuz they dont believe its a V6, just to see a stock looking motor. Sleepers are awsome in any form.

That's why I'm not doing a V8 swap. It's more embarassin losing to a 6 cylinder truck than a 8 cylinder truck. Since I'm gonna have to have the heads machined anyways, I might as well have them ported. Now to find a machine shop that will do it.
