if you have flywheel bolts just screw two of them in halfway, and have a buddy with a pry bar use them as something to hold against while you hit the crank bolt with an impact

I have heard about using a bar thru the front of the pully to brake it loose then remove the bar and finish taking it off. your engine is sitting there or on a stand??
