I ordered mine new and still checked the numbers. Wherever humans are involved, there is room for error.

is that 3" dual all the way? or Y piped, if its dual thats gonna kill awhole lot of low end power!!!

could he just be feeling the loss in low end torque from the cam?

That cam should have pretty good low end, I know mine does... His is similar to my cam.

Even if it did lose some low end, which that cam shouldn't the 3k verter would have made that up and then some.. Get a retune again..

Your tune is way off it sounds, running pig rich. That will kill your power. I'm still at a loss how anyone can expect to tune a cam via mail order.

It should have decent low end but by 3K he should feel a good difference and by 4K it should be a night and day difference for sure. Ask for a retune, if its still bad find someone local to scan it for you so we can see whats going, sounds like its running real rich.

Nelson has been tuning for years and thousands of setups thats how. BlueCajun ran his mail order tune when he was running 12.50s, obviously he knows a little something about tuning
