Hrm, they all play an important part for your performance.

Too big of a cam with stock stall and you won't gain much if any performance at the track. To max the benefit from a cam, you'll need to tune it. Small stalls need to be dialed in to prevent misfire codes.

What parts are you looking at?

That converter shouldn't set any codes as it's pretty tame from what I understand. Either way, I'd start with a tune, then stall, then cam.

That way with a tune you can setup yourself for more mods in the future. Hell just the tune on my truck and I picked up quite a bit of economy and power to boot!

I'd get the converter and a shiftkit. That dropped 7/10's off my time. This was before any tuning what so ever. Having these will give you better net gains from a tune and a cam when the time comes.

What stall do you have again? I got the Vig 3200 and I can't hook for crap. Did you use slicks or at least DRs?
I'm debating a cam and higher gears since the 410s and stall are a bit much, what do you think, 3.42s or 373s?
(My 4.10s may be for sale soon)

With a Hypertech HPPIII and Yank TT3000 stall I dropped a full second off my ET!
