Well guys, I have had the thunderracing cam on my shelf for about 7 months. I'm really ready to put it in. But I dont have any tunning execpt for hypershit. The cam is the 220/220 on a 112 lsa. What do you guys think of this?

before i got my tune i was running my tr220/112 on stock tune and stock stall. didn't have any idle issues when i first started it after the cam install. when you slow down and come to a stop (especially hard on the brakes), the rpms will drop to 450 to 500 and the engine will want to die. you just have to use two feet (one on brake and one on gas) at the same time. or i'd just get aggrivated and put it in neutral at a light. i was suprised that it ran good on the stock tune.

so I would be ok for the time being. My truck surges sometimes as it is. and some times dies. I have the 3k stall so that part wouldnt be a problem any ways. So should I back off my timming from 93 back down to 87? and Put back the stock shift poiints and all?
