Camming the 6.0.
What cam for the 6.0? Have a 4k stalled 4l80 with a shift kit an 3.42s, not changing gears truck is in sig. Was looking at the tsp 228r on a 110 or 111 want it sounding nasty at idle. What do y'all think? Good match? Better cam to go with? I also have a tbss intake to go with this in the near future. Thanks.

With your converter I would shoot for mid 230's on duration, maybe even a little more than that, depending on your goals and heads. Stock heads Id stick to 230's on duration at .050.

i dont understand a 4k stall and a nasty idle cam on stock heads. i mean my heads are still stock but im running a 5.3 with a smaller cam and only a 3200 tc. ported 243s are in the future. are u planning on upgrading the heads later? with that much stall you can run a pretty big cam. but with stock heads id say low 230s maybe like the tsp v2

Well with his 317s they flow much better than the 5.3 heads. A stock engine peaks torque over 4000 rpms, I think you are fine on the converter, eps has some good looking cams for stock intake and cathedral heads.
