Camming the 6.0.

With a engine with 60k miles I would use all the stock stuff.. If it aint broke don't fix it. Just throw springs pushrods and cam in there.
I would run about a 3500 converter and the 228r.. It should work well together

i mean yeah, im sure they did especially with their 9 sec stock bottom end camaro. but i dont see how somebody should steer away from tsp bc of this. we are still talking ls motors. im running a tsp cam and love it and there are alot of others on here running similar also.

Not tht bad just between 40-50 before lockup it will make alot of noise an not rly pull unless i get in it, but besides tht its fine.Hell at 65 I'm running 1750 rpms. Ima probly go to 3500 or 3800 just to improve gas mpg a little, an it shouldnt rly slow down any.

There are a ton of guys on here running TSP cams with great results, regardless of what their original intentions were...they're proven Comp XER lobes. I'm positive that the EPS lobes are awesome also, as Geoff obviously knows how to design LS cams (think TR220, TR224, etc.), but you can't discount that the TSP cams are proven performers in our trucks.

Drivability of a converter is different for everyone. I dont mind a loose converter for dd. There isn't a such thing as low end with a 4000 or 4400 converter, so pick a cam that is going to take advantage of that. A 224 w a 4500 verter is too small of a cam for a 6.0l.
