Default Camming soon.

How will my mpg be affected with installing my cam, specs are 226,236 588 576 111+4. Have a rcsb with a lq9 ,3.42s, 4l80, 4k stall ,tbss intake an worked 862s. I'm getting 15-17 mixed driving now. Also what kind of numbers should I see?

about 10. at least for the first month or two. Its hard not to floor it every chance you get with the added power lol. but it shouldnt suffer to much.

If your worried about mpg you should not plan on doing a cam.

It matters a little at 4 bucks a gallon an it's my dd lol. I know it will go down some just don't want to loss 3-4 mpg

Like I said...you should leave it alone then because the mpg will tank.

I have heard cases where some people actually gained mpg after cam and other mods right now I'm getting 18.3 stock so If I drop to 17_15 ill be happy but If I gain ill be really happy.

Let's think about this for a minute. You're significantly increasing valve duration (how long the valves stay open) and valve lift. This will certainly use more fuel. Yes, you'll definitely have a reduction in fuel mileage.
