Ok I have been messing around with the idea of a cam for my 5.3. Wondering what kind of cams you guys are running or recommend. My truck is a 03 rc stepside, want to keep it NA and not go FI. A nice mixture of low end torque and insane top end would be nice.

economy as in fuel eficency is not really much of an issue , but a good combination of both low end and insane top end would be nice.

Also another thing to consider is what your future plans for your truck are like do you ever think that you will get a supercharger, turbo or spray a little N2O or do you plan on just staying strictly N/A.

yes plan on getting stall, and trans upgraded and cam at the same time. Dont really want to go the FI route, keep it N/A maybe a 100 shot in the far future for most, if any

You can go with a pretty descent sized cam with a 3000 stall, I have the Yank tt3000 and I love it, it has excellent driveability.
