hmm... the only thing that gave me that reaction was that it was back up to my before-tailpipes loudness. it definitely felt stronger, but maybe i'm just used to the vette & it's desensitized me to performance mods on the truck

i'm still considering a cam... just a little later on down the road now - gotta get the Maggie on the car first.
what about that 214/218? nobody's really commented on that one...

i'd also like to see how the 214/218 would do when i swap the car's LS1 into the truck...
(man, this crap just don't stop! )

but it's always something... first i gotta get the 402 or 416 for the car, but for the past year that i've been with my (now) wife, i ain't got to spend a dime on either vehicle i want to die...

I did a 222/222 563/563 114+4on my truck with the stock manifolds and cats. I definitely noticed more top end, but felt restricted. Really woke it up once I went with the calspeed LTs and ORY.

I like my 220/224 with stock stall and tsp lt's and o.r. "Y" It is a little doggy of the line but it is matched with 35" 20's and a 4.10 gear. But, the mid-range is sweeet...

hey! i've been broke or busy...

started out not having the monies
then saved the monies but kept saving to buy my dream car
then finally did the headers
then kept saving & put headers, X, cutouts, and a blower on the car
then wrecked the car & spent the monies rebuilding it nicer
then got a woman
then married that woman
now all i can afford is to occasionally fill up the gas tank

i almost want to pop the LS1 to justify buying the stroker... but then i'd be stuck with the 5.3 in the truck

and what's worse is if we start talking about kids... now i gotta stop on the truck so i can find a needle in a haystack like this little gem for the back seat - and stuff like wheels, tires, lights, etc: all that can swap over, but all my engine work would go out the door i don't wanna downgrade engines... 5.3 to 4.8 is bad enough when adding 1000lb to your curb weight but losing a built LS1 to a stock 4.8

You know the new strollers have to be modified as well! And the little red and yellow magoo cars can take a tune and headers too!
