Go with the cam I have. I did not feel I lost any low end.

you don't HAVE to have a stall with any cam, you will just get the best gains from one with a stall. the LS6 cam isn't really what you want if you want increased torque, it is a TURD down low, but high end picks up nicely. smokeur5.0 has something like a 215/215 .555/.555 114(?) not sure on the LSA but he made great numbers all around with it and i believe it ran quite well on the stock tune also.
