Question Can I do 11's?

Ok the search button is not working for me. It just keeps bringing me to a page that says this:

There seems to have been a slight problem with the LS1TECH database.

An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, who you can also contact if the problem persists.
We apologise for any inconvenience.
So I guess I’ll have to ask this here. What would be the "best" way to get the 5.3L to go 11's in the 1/4 mile? Or would I be better to go the 6.0L route (maybe even a 402/408 stroker?) to get into the 11’s? And if it means to go into the 11's that I will have to be on the bottle about what times would I be running when not on the giggle gas?

Oh by the way, the truck is my daily driver: 2002 GMC RCSB 2wd with a 5.3L and 4L60E (duh...lol) and is compleatly stock with fairly low milage.

i suppose the fastest truck list is a good place to start as well. and look at peoples sig. money is the major factor in this game of going fast. how much are you willing to spend. a stroker is going to be the best way. or just a 6.0. good luck.

6.0L and nitrous would be the cheapest and easiest way to get into the 11s reliably.. Well as long as your noids don't stick right Jim? LOL

You could do it with the stock 5.3L too with a big enough shot of enough boost but you would need all the supporting mods and a good cam. Try shedding all the extra weight you can also.

On a side note, Hey Bravo.

Can you get me some badges or stickers or something like the ones in your sig? I'm thinkin if I put a couple of those on my truck people would be less likely to screw with me. Snipers are scary. Hahahaha

sts turbo, 10 psi FMIC/methanol, and slicks... don't forget a stall convertor and you might be where you want to be.

Nelsons truck ran 11.99 at 5psi, stock 6.0, 3200 stall, 3:08's on slicks with the STS.
With a few more mods and a little more boost, I would think a 5.3 could do it too!!!
