Default Can I do this?

Hey guys, first post.

I have an 05 H2. I want to give it some grunt and really like the aerochamber mufflers. My question is should I get 2 mufflers or just one? I have a factory y right after the manifolds then it goes into 2 pipes into the stock muffler and single exit out.

Would it be beneficial to get a shop the y it into a single inlet? Also, any power loss if I go to 3.5"?

Stock everything right now.

Thanks for any help.

X3 you will not notice any power increase with just a muffler, just sound.

Same thing goes for a cold air intake.

Get a custom Tune + any of the above and you will notice a difference, but most of it will come from the tune and how all the parts work together.

Also, with Long tube Headers you will notice a difference, but then again you need a tune to take full advantage of them.

I'm not concerned or worried about power gains or losses with a muffler change. I just didn't know if pipe diameter should be of any concern.
