can tuning get rid of limp mode?

im sick of that "reduced engine power" shenanigans

Can, if its a tune issue. Can't if it's a sensor or mechanical issue. I've gone into limp mode when I got water in sensors and DBW failures. I've also gone into limp mode for tune issues. Air flow numbers out of range for some of the safety things in the tune.

What exactly is happening. when I was tuning in October I would get up to about 5300 rpm and it would hit limp mode. Ended up being some tables I could adjust that got rid of the problem.
