I ordered my vig. converter though Speedteck here in DFW. I think it stalls to 3,200. I am happy with the results, but with my street tires I can not use 1st gear. I have noticed the trans temp gauge likes to sit at 200.

Did you install a tranny cooler? With my factory stall and a B&M cooler, I rarely see it climb past 150. In the summer, I'm sure it will get higher as I've only had the cooler on for 6 weeks or so.

I have not ran in the 1/4 yet. I ran a 9.1 in the 1/8 with a 2.3 60ft. My heads have port work and 5.7 valves. The cam sounds good with no muffler.

oppps, thats right, i think i was already doing the 1/8 to quarter conversion, thats why i put 14.1, but i though i did see you had a 3.0 60ft..

patrick i have a 5.3 single cab and plan to turbo or supercharge what is the best tranny kit and stall converter to use i tow my race car everynow and then but use it to play also whitch would be my best bet and whitch tranny kit like b&m spacer plate or what should i use for my 4l60e please help thanks and what gear should i use 3.73 is what i plan to use that sound good

I will sale you a brand new art carr 3000 stall with all of the billet upgrades, a brand new transgo shift kit, and a set of stock 5.3 heads in very good shape for 800.00....Now that's a deal.

Here is what i can up with for a part number for a envoy converter PN 24215557 Gm parts direct shows $275 +$100 core, So these must be a reman form GM
