well i have no idea why you cant do a burn out. when my truck was completly stock i could smoke the hell out of the stock general(notice that is singular). now even with 255's i can smoke it pretty good. maybe you are applying too much brake.

yah im wondering the same thing... do you even really need to use your brake? i dont use mine and i get plenty of spin, and i have a posi, 285s, and i dont even go through the water. if i go through the water i can just push the gas and spin in place but thats just alot of unnecissary treadwear

are you trying to just do like burnout contest style burnout or what? on street tires you dont even really need to heat them up, just spin the tires real quick to get all the crap off of them if even that.

no matter what i would still think you would be able to spin ur "tire" <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> easily though <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Well if it's any consolation, my Yukon(01' 5.3) can't do a brake stand burnout also. I guess I'm too heavy <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> .

i have a bone stock 4.8L and i can peel my one wheel down to the rim if i wanted to. the UPD lowers low end torque? cuz if so i'll have to reconsider buying that. i need all the low end torque i can get.

Are you flooring it when you try? Or just 3/4ing the throttle?
