carbed intake into FI
I've got a 53 buick i'm starting to restore and I'm putting a ls6 into it, my original plans were to carburate? it. But after reconsidering I believe I want it fuel infected. I've got the gmpp carb intake, it's got the injector bosses ready to be machined but I don't know any machine shops around to do it, any ideas?

If you have a spare LS1/LS6 intake manifold, any compotent machine shop can use that as a reference. I had a local machine shop modify our GMPP and it only cost $250 (we had the TB base milled as well for our Z28).

If you can't find anyone to do it, buy a injector drill bit and do it yourself. I think that's what I'll end up doing... I found one available at a non sponsor Ross Machine Racing. Search for it on Google and let me know if you don't find it (or find it cheaper somewhere else). Note: Different bits for 11mm and 14mm injectors.

I may be a dummy for asking this, in the description on the drill bits, it said they were to be used for drilling fuel rails, for some reason I thought that injectors sat down further in the intake tahn they did in the fuel rails? maybe i'm confused.
