did not get a change to look into a warranty or anything today....stupid work. i think im going to gut them and run it that way until i decide on the next move.

spoke with magnaflow this morning. the cats have a 25,000 mile warranty. however, they are no longer available for sale in CA. No universal cats are available for sale in CA for that matter. I will need to go thru the place i bought them and hope they will send me a new set.

I also asked the tech guy about the ceramic vs metallic cats. the metallics (which i have) hold up to more heat the ceramic....so ill try them again. maybe just a bad set...they are 2 years old...just sat on the shelf in my garage waiting to be put in.

I have had random tech cats on my vette for 5 years now and no problems with them. If you cant buy in California, have an out of state friend buy them, then send them to you. Could you get away with that?
