Just ordered that one too, in machined

 

Got the catch can and installed it this evening. I've not seen one mounted here before, but it seems to be the perfect location to me.

 

I've seen a few catch cans mounted to the master cylinder, looks like a great spot

 

I have a CCA catch can, it works great! I mounted mine on the passenger side head.

 

If it weren’t for the brass fittings, with your great hose routing, it would look almost factory installed, which to me is the most sincere form of flattery. Very nice install.

 

Thanks, ya the brass fittings kinda look gay/crappy but i did not feel like swapping them out for something else..

 

i would have mounted mine to the master cylinder but with the three piece engine covers it was easier to run the hoses from the alternator bracket. the CCA cans are awesome as stated in my first post and in Krambo's, since installing it i have had absolutely NO oil residue on the back of my throttle plate or anywhere in the intake manifold that i can reach with my hand.

 

I have done away with all pcv. Pass side valve covers on both sides with short fill necks and metco breathers. I pulled out the barbed fittings and plugged them with some machined aluminum plugs.

 

Has anyone tried the cheap $20 catch cans off of eBay?

 

They dont work, they dont have a filter element of any sort inside them. Id say theyre better for an overflow than an actual catch can.
