Default cats

ok cats are comming off tonite, the question is i have a tune but there not turned off and i have no sims yet. but if i remove them i know the ses light will come on until its taken acare of, i plan on getting sims but not for another week, if i remove this **** will it hurt my motor or performance in the mean time until next week when i get the sims? running it like this? the ses wont bother me

AFAIK, the rear 02's just tell the computer that the CATs are working correctly and that is it. The front 02's are the ones that tell the computer how well the motor is running.

Taking the CATs off should have no negative affect on how the motor runs except for setting off the SES light.

BTW, how do you like the tune so far?

the way I understand is that it starts throwing more fuel to it when it detects it
somehow to save the cat

I could be wrong though
