Has anyone ever put the pacesetter ORY and headers on in Houston? They wouldn't be doing a sniffer test on my truck but can they fail it because I wouldn't have any cats? (visual inspection)

 

If they do visuals, you will fail.

 

I might know a guy that could help you out if you are interested in driving to the deer park pasadena area.

 

i know a guy in bell county area that would let it slide

 

Be warned. State troopers have been popping some of the f-body guys in the 1960 area for no cats or illegal exhaust. There are a couple of threads in the Texas section you may want to check out. Search for "Standerfur".

 

I have that set up in houston, what i did was get the inspection sticker the day before i got the exhaust put on, so that will give you a year to find some one.Its not even worth going to a place for an inspection after the no cats, it wont pass. And as far as cops go i have never had any trouble with them and i have a cut out that is always open
