Default cheap 42lb injector mod.

42lb injectors off ls3's can be found for $50-75 for a complete take off set, they are way to short, I found spacers but they were backordered and was told the bottom is too small. I ended up getting a $5.00 piece of brass tubing, inside diameter fits the injector perfect, the tube is 5/8" outside, so I drilled the bosses in the intake out to that size, put a little sealer, then tapped them in, then put JB weld around the outside.

Good find! What is the ID of the tube? Or the wall thickness, if that is what is listed on the label? And where did you buy it?

stock number 143....

dont drill the plastic intake all the way down, if you leave a little plastic on the bottom runner side it acts as a "stop" when you push the bushing in.

With the injector that far up the pipe and out of the airstream you will most definitely have tuning and wall wetting issues.

I hate when my walls are wet In all seriousness, how far recessed is the injector nozzle from the intake port on the manifold? If it's not too bad I'd say run it
