Default checked my miliage

seems like a few people have asked me about my miliage and i didn't really know, i checked it this weekend on a road trip and got 13mpg at 75mph, it seems i have sacrificed my miliage quite abit, i got close to 20mpg stock.

It is worth it! trucks running strong.

My mileage has changed since the 6.0 swap. The 5.3 with boltons was getting 19 and 15-16.6 town/country driving.now i get 17 hwy and 12 lead foot town/country driving.Sat.I towed a durango over the steep mountain pass and with the trailer empty coming home looks like it will pull down about 13 mpg.Had to be close to 6800lbs total. That 6.0 wanted to pull most all the hills in 3rd gear, i pulled it down to 2nd on a couple because i felt it was loading the trans pretty hard.never had to go much past 1/4 throttle on the hills and if i pulled it down to 2nd gear i could easily pick up speed and go as fast as i wanted but kept it 60 on the grades. The 6.0 in this 1/2ton is a horse.

I get about 16/20 with my Whipple and 5.3. Not sure how that will change when my converter finally goes in.

Yeah, I swapped in the 6.0 in October and the mileage went down quite a bit. It is now getting 13-14 in everyday driving and maybe 15-16 on the road. I took a new job in November that requires me to drive about 120 miles a day. It was costing about $12 per day in gas so I went out and bought a Ferd Expire to drive. It takes $$$ to make power I guess!
