212/218 low lift u need some bottom end with those rims i would prolly do gears to.

Maybe 4.11 gears before deciding for sure to go with a cam. What size tires are on the rims

Need more info on your ride. Rcsb, ec, crew? What year? Are you willing to run a looser torque converter? DD or weekend warrior? The 212/218 is a good cam and won't require a looser stall torque converter. But a 2600 stall would help a lot. And 4.10 gears will help as well.

Its 2008 Stock Every Thing 305 25 28 just dont want **** up my truck and of course go a lil faster

I Just Boughts A 2008 GMC Sierra With A 5.4L Regular Cab Its Bone Stock And Want Know Whats Best Upgrades Want To Go Fast And Also Ride On 28's have about 5K To Spend On Performance alone For Now

Your options are limited since you live in ca. You could find a used radix that would give you a good bit of power.
