If you are tired of hearing about "THE GREAT GM PISTON SLAP FIASCO", stop looking at the threads with "PISTON SLAP" in the topic! I'm sure You and Mr. Oxidizr have some knowledge on some of the other topics.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The purpose of this site, as I understand it, is to offer info to help other members with their problems/questions. Not to rant and rave about only piston slap.

Ranting and raving about a problem is ok, when it is in its place like this thread (on topic), but when it chnges original thread topics to this, that when it needs to end. This thread has taken a turn for the worst with all the "I Say", "You Say" comments.
Mr. BigBlackMotor, you said the above comment. You stated your case. This moan and groan and putdown thread needs to end. As I have said before, there are people with this problem and some not. If they agree with you website, fine. If they do not (and most don't) respect their reply and move on. This tit for tat about S/C making you an expert and "you say something then I will counter with a putdown or something" is rediculous. It was a comment (BTW Oxidizr is not S/C he is N2O) Also Oxidizr and many others that have replied here are respected members of this board that bring much help to this forum. You however choose to only advertise your website talk about one issue. I must ask, do you wake up every morning and just go kick your truck, or do you have any other truck intrests. As you can see by the replies in this thread, your plite is not one of the majority here, so as I see it, this thread is done. Tell you what, when ever a piston slap thread goes up, you can post in it, state your case, show your website, but when it turns into one like this one did, it will go away.

I agree with Fast4.8. This site has helped me tremendously in "modding" my Yukon. I thank all the members who posted and allowed me to read and learn! Sure I heard about piston slap but it doesn't affect me. If it did I would have dealt with the dealer and GM. If the people here on this site had a simple fix for the piston slap I'm sure they would not hesitate to share it with us. To me just go to your dealer or GM and work it out with them. I know I'll be having more questions regarding my Yukon and this is one place I know that the people will respond and give me their "expert" advice.
