Default Cleaning O2 sensors?

Has anyone tried cleaning thier O2 sensors? The last several times I have looked at them on atap, they were switching pretty slow. Plus my ltrims are very inconsistant. I am thinking I need some new ones but dont have th 160 bucks to replace them right now. Just thought that if I could somehow clean them without damageing them might help.

I'm not sure that they can be cleaned without damage. But I would wait to clean them until you have the money to get new ones...just in case IMO.

Kenny, you've sprayed enough nitrous past them, they ought to be clean by now

Actually I have only put about 8# through it in the last two months. Maybe that is my problem.

the only way you might be able to clean them would be with a torch to burn any carbon off of them. i heard this somewhere before.
