Default Clear differential cover

I just saw this over at FSC. They are clear covers. I'm thinking.... well I don't know what to think. I kinda like it, but then it's kinda ricey. Check it out HERE

Yea, I saw it in the FS forum, just they aren't a sponsor here, so I'm limited to posting details.

Really slow truck: Not sure if it is worth it either. There will be no performance gain. Also makes me wonder if it will hold heat in since it is thicker than the stock cover. I would get one of those cooling type (Mag-tech or something) but those are just a lot of $$$.

Looks cool when it's new, but how 'bout when fluid gets slung on it everywhere. It's a BLACK cover again. Wait a couple of days w/o driving and it might have all run off of the cover to be almost totally clear again. I dunno. It's a really nice show idea if you were a rear end builder though.

Thinking about the clear cover, witha lowered or even stock 2wd not many people would see it. BUT a lifted 4wd would see it and would look cool.
Might not buy something that i cant see, but still would be good to check on the gears etc...
