Default cmotorsports turbo kit update

they still are not ready to start shipping the kits. but they are making progress and it all sounds good to me. Sam told me they are geting a lot of calls since my truck was in hotrod so maybe that will help them get things going.

Sam seems very concerend with not selling large quanities of kits without resoliving all of the issues first. my 2nd header is starting to crack in the same spot at the first one and these are the steps they are doing to reduce the likely hood of that happening again.

redesign the layout so the wastegate isn't touching the frame
building the header in house
use all 321 stainless
fill header with shielding gas on the inside to improve welds
preheat stainless to imporve welds
install slip joint if all else fails but it didn't sound like it would be needed

he also told me the new design of the header and down pipe and cross over is layed out better so should flow better. he seems prety excited about the kit and has in no way forgoten about the kit.

while talking the subject of motors came up and he offered me a KILLER deal on a motor and now i have one of their motors being built. they now have a huge shop with all in house machine shop. a few of the parts going into the motor so far.

Callies 4.00" Magnum crankshaft
Callies 6.125" Pro I beam Rods
JE FSR Pistons 4.030" bore
JE Hellfire rings
Clevite Poly-dyn Coated main/rod bearings
ARP main studs

still talking about heads and cylinder head sealing.

1-702-798-8504 << ask for Sam. report back on what he says. i would think the more intrest people show the sooner things will get done.

He is prety easy to get a hold of most of the time and willing to take the time to answer any questions.
