I would definately buy a strong bolt-on header kit for my 2500HD. I already have many turbos, wastegate's and other assorted pieces.

That's not a direct drop-in engine is it? How hard is the install?

A 408 is a direct drop-in, bolt-on motor. You can use all your present truck accessories and no one need be the wiser.
